studio questions

we are staying at AKV this fall in a studio. a while back i asked a few questions regarding the fridge size, but now i need help with the freezer. anyone know if i will be able to fit a box of frozen waffles in there? and i thought i read here that the studios also have toasters? true?

also? what are the AKV studio balconies like? room for me to sit out with my AM coffee?? room for the four of us to sit out and gaze at the savannah?

I haven't stayed at AKV, so I can address the balcony question. But, a box of waffles should fit in any of the studio "freezer" areas. Studios should have toasters, if not, call housekeeping, they will supply one.

We stayed at AKV over Christmas. Our studio balcony had enough room for 4 of us to sit, but I can't recall how many chairs were even out there. Anyone??? I guess you could always pull one of the table chairs outside if needed.

Sorry I can't help with the freezer size....we always do the Dining Plan & NEVER even keep any food in our room.

If the box didn't fit, maybe you could take the waffles out of the box (but leave in plastic)?

I believe that all studios at DVC disney have 2 balcony chairs. I have never seen more in the studios that I can remember

i was just not sure if the "freezers" were the types that just fit an icecube tray, or if they were slightly bigger.

we are doing the ddp, but will be doing simple breakfasts in our studio...

We were just there in a studio a few days ago. Not sure how big the freezer is but the fridge was really cold. We had a refillable mug in there and it still had ice in it 24 hours later.

Yup only 2 chairs and a table on balcony. Lost of room though. The freezer si large enough for the waffles and 2 bottles of water. Enjoy, looking forward to our return to

Blue thing on the door holds yogurt well. Soda cans are good too. Water bottles are too big.

I definitely had waffles in the freezer. It's about the only thing my son eats. We did take it out of the box because it leaves more room for bottles of water.
