Studio or One bedroom at HH?

I'm making ressies at HH for after Xmas and would like some feedback on staying in a studio or 1 bedroom. We'll be there 4 nights...two adults, a 4 yr old and 18 month old. Has anybody ever stayed in a studio that long? Part of me says go for the one bdrm and another part of me sayd go for the studio and only use 30 pts to save the others for additional trips. What do you think?

We have stayed in a studio for 5 nights in the summer and it wasn't a problem (DDs were 3 and 8 at the time), but we weren't in the room very much at all. Since it is winter and you may be spending more time in the room than usual, I'd go for the 1 bdrm just for the extra space, plus you wouldn't have to worry about being without a tub if you should get an HCA room.

I too would go for the 1-BR. The extra space will be nice. We went in Jan and stayed in a 2-BR for just that reason.

My family has stayed at HHI four times over the past three years. The 1 bedroom is great because of the space and the ability to put the kids down for the night and still be able to enjoy TV time.

There also won't be as many restaurants open at that time of the year, so you might just want to eat in a night or two. Much easier to do in a 1BR!

Rates are really good for that time of the year and the difference for Sun-Thur weekdays between a Studio and a 1BR is not that bad - weekends are a little different story.

Remember a 1BR has a kitchen with full size refrig and dishes - two TVs, full size table, sofa and chair, a Jacuzzi tub, a washer and dryer, and a lock off from the tub and sinks and the shower and toilet.

We get the 1BR for just two adults...the savings of eating several meals in almost makes up the difference.

We stayed in both a studio(1 night) and a 1 BR(3 nights) in March specifically to see the difference. DH said the extra points for a 1 BR were definitely worth it. Since you spend much more time there than at WDW (at least we do), we love the extra room. He'd consider a studio at WDW since we're at the theme parks so much, but at HH, spending time on our porch, eating at our Villa more than at WDW, I'd definitely recommend the 1 BR.
