Studio Catering Company Closing ???

I read that SCC is closing to make way for future attractions? When??? It is our favorite place to eat lunch in DHS...their greek themed entrees are excellent...why close that place? It is always crowded!!!!

You answered your own question. They need the space for future attractions. They can't leave it open and work around it. Fortunately, this being Disney, nobody will starve.

The closing date is apparently the same as the other closures that were announced- April 2.

While we enjoy Studio Catering Co, we'll really miss High Octane Refreshments! Perfect spot for an afternoon highball!

To me both the MK and HS have very few places to recommend for me. I'm disappointed that they are closing one of the QS restaurants I like at HS--guess I'll have to eat elsewhere now before I get there or after I leave.

why close that place?

1) About 1/3 of DHS will be closed to make way for Star Wars Land.
2) About 1/2 of AK will be closed for Avatarland.
3) Have to make way for new attractions and the associated construction zones.
4) SCC is just one of the casualties.

I don't think that is accurate, unless you know something I don't.
It closed Camp Mickey and Minnie, which we never visited since we didn't have little ones. It has not had impact on the rest of the park. Other additions and changes have occurred and will continue but Africa, Asia, Dinoland are no where near the new Avatarland.
