Studio at VWL or standard at WL....

The biggest difference between the two is size and a balcony.

The Studio offers a queen-sized bed, nightstand, wet bar, armoire, TV and ceiling fan, in a 356 square foot room. Full bathrooms have ceramic tiled floors and storage area in the vanity under the sink. The kitchenette area includes an under-the-counter refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker and wet bar. A start-up supply of coffee is provided in addition to coffee mugs, glasses, bowls and plates, and cutlery. The picturesque view can be enjoyed from the private balcony or patio.

A standard room in the Lodge is slightly smaller at 340 square feet. Does not have a microwave, wet bar, dishes, flatware or balcony.

The studio has one queen bed and a sofabed. The WL room has two queen beds. If there are only two people, the studio seems larger, because the sofabed doesn't take up as much floor space during the day. The bathrooms are laid out similarly and are about the same size. The studio will have a kitchenette with microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, and undercounter refrigerator. The WL room will have a dorm size fridge and coffeemaker, but no microwave or toaster. The WL rooms have flat screen tv's and the villas have standard tv's.

Both resorts share the same amenities as far as transportation, pools, check in desk, gift shop, fitness center, boat and bike rentals, etc. The villas are farther from the boat to MK, but closer to the bus stop than most of WL. The gift shop, restaurants and check in desk are in the lodge, but the fitness center is in the villas. Some would say the lodge has better views, because of the courtyard view. The views at the villas are for the most part woods views.

this is 2 different building

one is the lodge - when WL is located. the other is the villa where the studio is located.

the big difference is the beds - as had been noted 2 queens in the WL, in vwl one queen bed and a double sleeper sofa. plus VWL has a kitchenett.
under the counter refrigerator, microwave, toaster -

WL does not. It only has a refrigerator (which you can't control the temperature in the VWL one you can)

both have balconies. Although people have complainted about the views in the standard - either parking lot, or roof? the big attraction with standard views is the lobby. most of the standard views are around the lobby.

with vwl the views are generally woods - so they too me are nicer than the parking lot or roof.

vwl is also more private.

with VWL you have access to the free washer/dryer. WL you have to paid for the washer/dryer.
