Currently listed park hours & MVMCP really messing with my brain. My spouse wants to be sure we do BOG for lunch and I want to be sure to see HEA-unfortunately I haven't been able to get BOG for that Monday or Wednesday. I have BOG booked for Thursday-which is a party night. Arrival day is Sunday the 17th. I was planning to do Epcot on arrival day since it is the park open the latest that night, but my spouse loves Epcot and feels strongly that she doesn't want to have a "short day" there. These 2 requests are her only requests and I'm actually surprised I got this much input-I'm usually on my own with planning.

We are staying at POP. We do not have hoppers and it would cost about $330 to add them to my current tickets (2016), so seems a bit much for me to add it.

Anyway...
1)What are the odds of HS not closing at 8, and maybe staying open until 9, that Sunday night so we can do that park on arrival day? I know it's just a guess, but what do you think?

2) We will likely be doing MK on our last day with the BOG ressie. Would you pick Monday night for MK or Wednesday night (EMH) for HEA?

Adding park hopping to each multi-day ticket is approximately $75 per person. How many people are in your party?

Both of those MK nights will be busy - choose the night that does fit in your plan the best.

Per Robo, the upgrading costs have changed and my cost will be just over $108/person because you pay the difference between the cost of what you originally bought and the cost of what you want now. Unless I got very lucky and a CM sprinkled me with Pixie Dust, this is what he told me in the ticket sticky.

Ok. You must have purchased those tickets through Disney?

MK has parties on the 18th, 20th, and 21st. The park will be a little less crowded on those days so most people spend the day there and then head elsewhere. Which day is your BOG reservation? And, is your arrival day Sunday the 16th or Monday the 17th?

My quick answer would be to go on Monday to MK. While both Mon and Wed will be crowded the EMH on Wed will up that night a little. Also, since you will be going on Thur to MK for BOG do you want to do it Wed night till 11 and then return the next morning to redo the park? At least with Mon you will have a split there.

Arrival is Sunday, the 16th. I think we will plan on DHS that night. BOG is lunch on Thursday, but am watching for a dinner opening for any day that week, except Sunday.

This is the way I'm leaning. Thanks for the input.

You don't really have to have a concrete plan until 60-70 days in advance. I would make 2 plans. One that centers around your BOG reservation and another which is your preferred plan.

In the meantime, I would suggest that you join the December ADR cancellation thread: https://www.disboards.com/threads/d...-adr-thread-guidelines-in-first-post.3685709/ . Select "Watch Thread" in the upper right. I would also suggest that you use the "reservation finder" over at Touring Plans. You don't need to be a paying member.

Exactly what I've done!:thumbsup2 At least I know I'm on the right track. Thank-you!
