What do you think has the strongest scent? I keep switching detergents because I love for my clothes to smell--good, fresh out of the laundry, that is. I always used Tide and Downy, but I just counld not smell the scent anymore. So I switched. I have tried Gain--which was strong, but now my favorite scent, Cheer-not very strong, Surf--not very strong. Anyone have another I should try??

Have you tried Tide and Downey Febreeze? LOVE IT

My new favorite smelly laundry stuff is Downy Lavendar and Vanilla Fabric Softener. I also use the dryer sheets. Me and my kids (and even my DH!) walk around sniffing ourselves all day long it smells sooooo good! I especially love to use it with my linens.

SOmeone told me the Tide Lavendar and Vanilla laundry detergent is not as good though. Something about it smelling very chemical-ish. I don't know, I haven't tried it, but can't recommend the Downy products highly enough.

My sister uses the Tide with Febreeze too and I can smell her coming before I see her. When she uses a Febreeze dryer sheet I can smell her an hour after shes been gone. No joking!

I use the Tide lavender and vanilla. I don't think it smells chemically at all. I have actually stopped using the Downy softener b/c the Tide does such a good job at the smell. I also need a new downy ball too.

What I don't think works at all are the fabric sheets...

Downy has a new fabric softener scent: rose & violet. Smells really good. :) I do like the other scents too.

As for detergent, All has a very strong scent, at least the Spring Rain scent is really heavy. Too strong for my tastes, but if you're looking for strong, that might be the one for you. :)

I love this too. I just did a load of laundry and yelled to my husband, don't you just love that smell?

BTW OP, I don't buy it, but I remember loving Solo when I was younger and my mom would buy it. Do they still make that? I only buy Tide, so I never notice anything else.

Before the DIS, I always wondered why some people smell like laundry. I always thought it was unintentional!
