Strollers & the Monorail

Do you have to fold up your stroller to get on the monorail? Or can the kiddos be pushed in their stroller onto the monorail car and sit in their stroller for the duration of the ride? This will be our 1st trip with the twins and I am curious. A stroller is a necessary part of our life.

Hi, Yes you can push your stroller onto the monorail. If your stroller is too wide, you can use the handicap section. The ride isn't jerky, so your little ones would be fine for the ride. I would use your brake. Now, the tram from the parking lots, theat's totally different. Your stroller has to be folded & inside the tram. Sbella

You also have to fold you stroller for the train in MK.

It was Christmas Day and we wheeled right on. The funny part was there was another stroller across from us and the kids were chatting. No problems what so ever.

If its not busy you can roll the stroller on but I would be prepared to fold it just in case. If its crowded and standing room only you will need to fold the stroller before boarding. If your not ready it may cause you to have to wait for the next train.

Also you mentioned twins, if you have bigger double it may not fit on the regular cars and if its not utilized by someone in a wheelchair ECV you could use that car. Again - depending on crowds.

I would be prepared to fold and if you can stroll that's a bonus.

Like others said you must fold for the bus and trams, for the boats you can leave the stroller open but the children must come out.

We loved the monorail with ds!! He took a great nap right in his stroller riding on the monorail!! Nice and air conditioned, he fell asleep just like he would in his car seat in the car!
