yes..we had to fold ours up.

Yes, I second the folding comment. Boat from Epcot to MGM we left open in the back, but the lagoon boats had to be folded.

So the strollers that you rent at the parks would not be allowed as they can't be folded?

We rented a stroller at EPCOT and took it on the boat - no problem. They just asked us to park it at the back of the boat.

You just roll them on over the gang-plank and into the boat.
