I've heard there are strollers on board that are for rent. Anyone have experience with them - i.e. cost / quality? We have a one year old and would love to not have to worry about bringing a stroller of our own. ::MinnieMo

I believe there is no charge for the strollers, but a $100 deposit is required. They are limited and not guaranteed to be available at all times. So, personally I'd bring your stroller. If flying it will be invaluable in the airport going to/from the gate, and also useful in the port waiting to board.

We are on the 11/6 Western also and will be bringing our own stroller. We found the stroller very useful on the last Disney Cruise. We are going to FL. the week before and will be using the stroller at the airport, parks and on the cruise.

I'll have a one year old on my cruise only vacation and I will be bringing my own stroller - a Combi Travel Savvy, so its very compact and light and it has many Disney miles on it already.

We didn't have any problem getting a stroller on our sold out, 3-night cruise last summer, even though I waited until the morning after embarkation. There is no charge, but a $100 deposit is required. It will be credited back to you when you turn in the stroller. They are standard Graco strollers. The one we got was very dirty. The fabric was grungy, it was full of crumbs, and the padding on the handle was ripped up. I have never seen anyone else mention anything like this, so perhaps we just had bad luck (and maybe got one of the last ones, since we were so late in deciding to get it.) We only used it during dinner. We had late seating, and DD, who was 5 months at the time, just slept in the stroller next to the table during dinner. We brought our own umbrella stroller, which we used on the ship. It was much easier to maneuver through the halls, elevators, etc.

we rented a stroller. It was in HORRIBLE shape. the seat was reclinded all the way back (as in laying down). Unfortunately it was take it or leave it... This means they were out of stroller before the ship even left Port Can. Good luck

We rented one on our September cruise. It was in great condition. It was hard to get in the elevators because they are so narrow, but I imagine any stroller would be difficult in that situation. I wouldn't hesitate to rent one again onboard and not hassle with taking my own.

We had a great experience with our stroller for 10/9 cruise.
It was a brand new Graco stroller with under stroller basket and flip over sunvisor. We picked it up after we docked in Key West and kept it in the room all week to use in each port.

I got one the 3rd day of our 7 day cruise since my daughter had fallen asleep and no way was I going to get stuck in the room all night with her sleeping LOL....then I brought it back that night and got it again on the 5th night just for the night. She normally doesn't use one so I didn't want to have it in our room the entire cruise.
