Curious - Does anyone know of any restaurants at Disney that strollers are not allowed in? We'll have a double stroller with us, but we wanted to make sure we could get it in everywhere.

Thanks.

Officially, strollers are not allowed inside ANY WDW restaurants. The standard rule is that you are to leave your stroller outside while dining indoors. (This is because strollers are a trip hazard to people carrying plates of food.)

The reality is that if you eat at "off" times when the restaurant is relatively deserted, and your child/ren are sleeping, the restaurant may, at staff discretion, allow you to bring it in, and often will. When they do, you would normally be seated at the back of the room where the stroller will not be in anyone's way.

You won't have any problem in the CS restaurants I don't think any of the TS restaurants will allow a stroller, especially a double. Even when we had a sleeping baby we were told it was a fire hazard and that was with a single stroller.

Along the same lines, strollers are not allowed in the land pavilion at Epcot.

OK - Good to know.

What about car seats? Are they allowed in restaurants? At least we could use a double stroller with the car seats and just take the babies in those instead.

You can bring infant carseats into restaurants, but in the parks, that would mean bringing the carseats into the parks, which would mean leaving the babies in them most of the day, which isn't really good. A baby that is sitting up can use a high chair, but with younger ones that won't work.

I think that the best strategy is to plan to mostly eat outdoors or at off times while in the parks. In resort restaurants (or at BW or DTD) the carseats will be fine.

I don't think we'll have much of a choice. If we can't bring strollers into the restaurants, we'll have to deal with the car seats. I don't think we'd be leaving them in the seats most of the day though. We'll each have a baby sling to carry the babies with.

If you've got slings you can just secure them on your laps while you eat.
