Strollers in Disneyland

If you bring your own stroller into Disneyland, are you allowed to lock it with a bicycle lock? I don't want to come out of a ride and find our stroller gone. I'm asking because I read that the cast members sometimes move the strollers.

At Disneyworld they often move the strollers to make room for more, clear pathways, etc. It's not advisable to lock your stroller to something because they might need to move it. We have been to WDW numerous times with our stroller and most often do not have any trouble finding it when we come out of an attraction. There are a number of ways to "mark" your stroller to make it more distinct/visible. We used a bright orange bandana wrapped around the handle, some people use ribbon, others make a sign to pin on the back of the hood with their name. You can also tie a balloon to the stroller. If you're worried about theft, I've read there's a way to lock the back wheels together so the stroller can't be pushed w/out picking up the back wheels off the ground to roll it. That would make it hard for someone to put their kid in your stroller and just walk off with it.

We brought our rather expensive double jogging stroller and not once were we concerned with it's safety. On occassion the CM's moved it to accomodate the sea of strollers arriving (in front of It's a small world for instance where alot of riders are stroller driven) but we always found it quickly, it looked differnt than the park stroller which made it far easier to spot and we tied a lime green ribbon to it!

Have fun!

You are not allowed to lock it. They may cut off your lock. They have to keep walkways clear for the fire marshal. The problem is with the rentals that all look alike. Those have been known to walk off every now and then (it is rare and happens in WDW too) but not personal strollers.

You cannot lock your stroller. If you have the Disney Visa card, you can get two strollers for free right now. This could be an option if you are afraid of having your stolen. :goodvibes
