Does anyone know if you can leave your strollers at the Child Care Centers while your child is there?

TIA,
Danielle

Yes. You must leave your stroller outside the childcare center while you are inside. In fact, they won't let you bring it in at all - I just the place would just clog up with strollers if they let them it!

Right. But can you leave the stroller outside of the center while you are off doing your date night? I don't want to have to push an empty stroller around for 2-3 hours while my son is at the center. Thank you for your reply!

OK let me get this straight:

If you are going to a Disney resort child care center, then I think it's easier to leave the stroller at your hotel and just walk your child to the care center. Or bring your stroller and fold it up, I think they will let you bring it. But that's for the child care at the resorts.

If you are at the PARKS, the baby care centers are not a place for ditching your child, they are for "care" - diapering, feeding, stuff like that (Which I think you know if you are a Disney Alumni, right? :) )You must leave your stroller outside of them.

But.....if I were you, I would ditch the stroller at your hotel and carry your child to the child care/"babysitting" places that are at the resorts (forgot their names, but the ones like Simba's Clubhouse or the old Neverland Club). No real reason to bring a stroller.

Yup, I know the difference between the Child Care centers and Baby care centers. My bad for using "Care" instead of "Activity", however, you can take your snark somewhere else. This is the first time I am taking our son to Disney and the first time having to navigate Disney with a Child. Our plan is to use The Sandcastle Club at the Yacht Club in the middle of our Epcot day, so that my husband and I can do the Food and Wine festival for a few hours with out him and then pick him up for Illuminations. So you can see that with this scenario, still using the stroller is needed as a 4 year old won't keep up with that much walking for the entire day. At least, not my 4 year old.

I totally apologize, it was not meant that way at all. I too am a former CP, and even during my time, there was plenty of stuff that I didn't know because it wasn't my area. Heck, there was plenty of stuff I learned here that I didn't know during my "tour of duty". I worked parks - ask me anything about that, but I would have no clue how merchandise worked because it wasn't my area.
It's tough to get goofy nuance through text. I think you can totally drop the stroller (and the kid!) at the Sandcastle club.

But what I would do, personally, is make a reservation for the Sandcastle club, drop your child off there, and then go into Epcot for the F&W by yourselves. Do Illuminations another night with him or not at all depending on how he feels about fireworks. Illuminations can be really really loud for a kid, even mine gets a little startled and he loves fireworks. I think it's because of the proximity.

Wow, I am so so sorry @Bluegrrl. I way over-reacted (probably due to the overwhelming amount of pissy people on the Dis anymore). I am wondering about the loudness of Illuminations now..... Yesterday DS jumped at the air compressor when we were filling bike tires :( I am hoping this is just a phase, because he has never before been upset by loud noises. Man, planning on how this trip is going to go with a kid is like planning for WDW as if it was your first time.

Thanks for the suggestion and not hating me for being a Grumpy Dopey Dis'er.
