i have a huge Graco. i am looking for a light weight stroller for a 3.5 yr 34 pounds that will last. We have been exptremely blessed that we will be going on 2 cruises and WDW 4 time in the next 16 months. DOn't want to spend a fortune but what something that will last and manuevers well. I've heard great things about the maclarens and how easy the are to push..... just don't know what the differences is.

Never thought i'd be buying a new stroller at 3.5.....Help I leave for our 1st unplanned trip in 10 days.

The Maclaren is great because it is so lightweight, folds up compactly, and steers like a dream, even with a large child.

The down side is that they are tippy, especially if you put anything on the handles.

Still, wouldn't trade mine for anything....except maybe a Baby Jogger City Mini because of how easily they fold.

I have the city mini and LOVE LOVE LOVE it! It folds with one small tug and my four year old can hold it because it's so light.

We used this one by Chicco...you dont have to bend over, folds up well, has straps/carry case and nice size basket on bottom. Also your child doesnt "sink" into it like the cheaper umbrella strollers. Usually you can find a Babies R Us coupon and get it a little cheaper. Be sure to mark it in some way b/c there were lots of these at Disney.
Computer wouldnt let me post link but it is at Babies R Us/Toys R Us, Chicco and is 79.99...product ID 3687548.

We have a Maclaren and love it too. We bought ours at a TJ Maxx. I wish I had bought one years ago when my 1st was small enough to sit in a stroller.

I had a Maclaren Techno that I used for my DD until she was 6 or 7. They really take a beating and keep on rolling. The Maclaren Volo is readily available in regular stores like Babies/Toys R Us and goes for about $120. IMO, you don't have enough time to buy anything online in only 10 days so you'll have to find something that you can pick up at a store.

We bought a baby trend single stroller. I think it was around $40. It is black with red trim. Has a full basket, completely reclines and has a sunshade. Much lighter than a graco and less expensive than a Mac. I just couldn't justify the expense of a Mac, plus I like have a parent tray and a basket underneath and the Baby Trend had those.

I would not rule out shipping something just yet I just ordered the baby planet endangered species snow leopard stroller from an online dealer over the weekend and it is scheduled for delivery tomorrow. I got it on sale for 107.99 w/ free shipping and has all of the same features that the mac has. I had a mac techno which I loved but I truly believe the baby jogger city mini far exceeds any of the macs. You can check out the bjcm on www.babyjogger.com but if you really like this stroller you need to jump on it now b/c they did recall them for the buckle over time older children can break them they are hard to find right now b/c of the recall. You can also rent one from www.orlandostrollerrentals.com. You can also get a mac volo from target for 99.99 the volo is a very basic umbrella stroller w/ no recline.
