worth it will have my granddaughter 4 and grandson 11 and thier dad with me is it more cumbersom or worth it?
thanks

the 4yo will definitely need it at some point.
We drove so it was easy enough for us to bring our stroller. If we had flown though, I may have considered just renting one.

I think it depends on the children. My DS would never sit in a stroller...yes, even in WDW....after he started walking at 11 months. We bought the stroller with us until he was about 2 1/2 and it was more of a pain than helpful. He wanted to push it instead of sit in it, and taking the stuff out of it every time we wanted to go into an attraction became a nuisance. The only thing it was good for was for carrying all our stuff through the airport.

If the 4 yr old uses a stroller at home all or most of the time, it might be worth it to bring. If not, I would just rent one when she really needs it.

I have DD 6 1/2 who will be riding in a stroller at Disney. Of course she doesnt ride in one at home, but Disney is miles and miles of walking. I dont even like the thought of all that walking for me!! We will be taking a stroller with us this fall. She will turn 7 a few days before we get there, but she is a petite little thing. She weighs 43 pounds now. I did get her a sturdier Maclaren stroller for this trip, but at 4 unless your grandaughter is large you could go with a cheaper one from Walmart or somewhere like that. You could find one with a canopy and a basket. Definately helpful for carrying stuff. Our DD was 4 last time we went and could not have done it without a stroller. I think from a safety standpoint a stroller is a bonus also. We would always make DD ride in her stroller between rides and coming and going from the park, and then she would hop out at the rides. Much faster with her in there than dragging her behind while she complains she is tired. I would rent or purchase a cheaper stroller from a discount store. (That option would most likely be cheaper depending on how long you stay. I think it is about $8 per day to rent a single) Good luck and have FUN!!! :flower2: :flower2: :flower2: :flower2:
