Stroller Tips?

Does anyone have tips on taking strollers into the park? What do you use to help you identify your stroller? Can I leave it at an attraction for an extended period of time without worrying about it being stolen? I'm planning to take a Chicco Liteway Plus stroller, since it reclines (hoping to get some stroller naps).

Thanks!

I usually put a bright luggage tag on mine we have a year old son so we don't usually leave the strollers at 1 place for very long. I will tell u that the stroller parking does have a cast member working it and a lot of times where u park your stroller doesn't stay there. If they need to make more room for other strollers they will move your stroller to a different position than you put it at. I have also seen people tie balloons to their strollers which I think is a great idea. Buy it when u walk into the park and tie it on your stroller then it will be very easy to identify which stroller is yours. I might actually do this on our next trip

Strollers do get stolen on occasion. You can always lock the back 2 wheels together, making it unusable to anyone else. You just can't lock it to anything else, the CMs must be able to move it if necessary.

We have had one stollen, and it even had our name written down the side of the stroller in black marker!! Just be prepared and don't leave anything in it. They gave us a free one to use for the rest of the day but it sucked for the rest of our trip.

Balloons are a great idea, we will try that this time.

Went to AC Moore and bought two neon colored bandanas. We could spot that stroller right away, even when the CM's moved it to another location.

We tie a couple of colorful bandanas on ours, in colors and patterns that would easily stand out, one is neon pink and the other one had ballerinas on it. We also locked ours. It could still be moved a short distance by a cm, but would be useless if someone tried to go more than a foot or two with it, but mistake or on purpose. Also, don't leave anything of any value in it. And don't leave food in it, the squirrels and birds are experienced snack bandits.

one tip related to strollers and rainy season, leave your cover over stroller when parked in case storm blows in while you are away from your stroller. nothing worse than returning to find a wet stroller

When you're covering the stroller because of rain, bring a small baggie of binder clips to use to keep the cover from blowing off.

if you're riding the train at MK or AK (or bus/boat) have the baby out and the stroller folded and ready to get on when the train arrives. You don't want to hold the line up, or have to wait for another train, while you unpack the stroller and they won't let you ride with the baby in the stroller.
