stroller strategy

I read in a guide book that strollers in MK can be rented at the front of the park under the train station, AND at Tinkerbell's Treasures (or something like that). I called the disney line and asked and the rep I talked to said that as far as he knew, just at the train station.

So I'm wondering, CAN you get them at the Tinkerbell place? And if you can, would it make more sense for me to get one THERE when we make our way to that part of the park (my DD is five and won't need one immediately)? That way, maybe I could avoid a line at the train station. But I'm also concerned that they might go quickly at the Tinkerbell store and there wouldn't be one for us when we got there.

Any advice from seasoned WDW stroller-pushers?

Only at the train station.

But here is the scoop. If you get there before rope drop and are carrying cash, you can rent your stroller before they drop the rope. They will give you a peice of paper, you exchange the paper for the stroller as you walk through the train station. Keep pushing the EMPTY stroller down mainstreet a bit (or you block traffic) and then get in. No line - seriously, they are pushing strollers out and collecting receipts as fast as people walk in the park.

So if the park is scheduled to open at 9:00 the day we're going, what time should I get there to get a stroller?

BTW, thanks for your reply. I'm glad I posted the question instead of assuming that I'd be able to get one elsewhere in the park.

They usually start letting people in around 8:30 for the rope drop, if you want to be near the front then you need to get in line by 8 at the latest. By 8:30 there are very long lines to contend with on most mornings.

We have rented from them for the past 3 years (about 10 trips) and they are great. About $60 for a Graco stroller in perfect condition. They deliver and pick up from your hotel.

Well worth it.

We were able to rent a stroller at Tinkerbelle's when we were there in May - they had plenty at around 11:00 after our Princess breakfast.
