How are the strollers at the Disneyworld parks? Are they the hard plastic ones or are they nice material? Do they recline? We are going in May 2005 for 6 days and were debating renting a double stroller or bringing our own. I just want to make sure they are comfortable enough in case one or both of the kids want to take a short nap. Also, does anyone remember the price? Thanks.

I have never actually rented a stroller from DW since we always take our own, so I couldn't help you on the price. However, I tried to take a look at them to see if our DS wouldn't mine riding in one. They looked to be just plastic and they don't recline. They do, however, have a cover over the stroller, great to keep the sun out! Again though, I have never actually rented one myself, so if I am wrong I am sorry. Hopefully someone with first hand knowledge can help more! Have a Disney day! :earboy2:

Bring your own. The MK strollers are hard plastic. Don't recline. No big basket for storing things. Too expensive to rent for a long period of time. I also prefer my own for the germ factor. I guess I just like knowing that my child is curling up in their stroller minus someone else's germs. If you must rent, I would suggest renting from a baby rental place near Disney. They drop off the stroller and pick it up. Nice to have one all the time. My kids are usually worn out by the end of the day. If I had to tell them to get out of the stroller at the gate of the MK because we had to turn the stroller in, it wouldn't have been a pretty sight.

Strollers may be rented in each of the theme parks for $8 per day for a single and $15 per day for a double (price increase 7/02), and you get a $1 Disney Dollar back when when turning-in your stroller at the last park visited for the day. Reservations are not accepted. If you want to visit more than one park in a given day, retain your stroller receipt and present it at the second park to obtain another stroller at no additional cost.
