Is there anywhere you can rent a stroller for 2weeks? I know you can rent them in the parks but I am looking for something for when I am not in the parks as well. Thanks for any help

The are a few children's rental companies you can look into. We used Children's Furniture Rental (407) 522-0233 since the front desk at the Grand Flordian recommended them very highly. You can rent full size cribs, strollers (single, double or jogging type strollers), high chairs etc... We were very pleased with their service and prices!!!

Another options is A Baby's Best Friend at ABBF.com. I compared prices with both and Children's Furniture Rental was a better deal for us, and they also deliver and set up your crib for you and pick it up in your room when you check out. ABBF does not set up, you have to pick up the items from the storage area at the resort and deal with it yourself. My DH did not want to do any of that while relaxing on vacation!!!

Let me know if you have any other questions!!!

the prices ABBF charge for 2 weeks stroller rental you are better of buying one - you can check it on the plane and you will have it at the airport which is very useful after a long flight (particularly on the way home as you tend to arrive back in the UK at some silly hour of the morning)

ABBF charge from $50/week - I would suggest checking out www.kiddicare.com and depending on teh age of your child picking up a volo for £40 before you go (volo is great for 2+, I would get one of the reclining Maclarens if your baby is younger, they are a bit more but still very reasonable)

Thanks for the advice i think buying one will be the best option the only problem being that my DD will be 5 and DS 6 so i need something quite big. Which although they can walk a far bit i think by late afternoon they will be worn out and grumpy if they are not able to have a rest.

my 6 year old has gone to bed now, but I'll try her in our maclaren tomorrow and let you know how she fits.

She actually went strollerless last December and won' t have one later this month - we only found it a problem very late on a couple of evenings - the rest of the time she was fine.

I would try without a stroller and i think my DD will be ok even though she is younger but my DS who will be six tends to get very grumpy when tired and as we are off site probably won't go back to the villa for a rest. We also like to do our shopping in the evening so we can have more time in the parks and my DS hates shopping so if he can just sit in a stroller and chill out that will make everyone happier.
