I have a 5 year old who has pretty much grown out of her stroller, but know she will never make it walking all day at DL and will miss the storage under the stroller. How are the strollers at DL? How much does it cost to rent one?

I belive that they cost 10.00 a day and from what I saw they look like they can hold quite a bit of stuff. I hope this helps you.. Have a fun trip.

They are free if you have the Disney visa (1 rental per day/single wide only). We had to use one one night - my 4 year old couldn't wait up for the fireworks. The rental process was easy and quick, the stroller was very basic, little storage underneath.

I *think* the price is now $11 per day. We did the free Disney Visa stroller rental (very nice!)

Storage:
There is one small mesh storage basket beneath the stroller seat which held a mini back pack and a couple very small light weight jackets rolled up.

There is also one mesh pocket behind the seat, which can hold water bottles and Disney maps and autograph books. For heavy jackets or coolers or large bags, you would probably need to rent a locker! Hope that helps!:)

We did the free stroller rental too. Quick and easy. If you are not carrying a bunch of stuff I thought that the stroller was great. We had sweatshirts and stuff in ours. My husband carried all the snacks and cameras in a backpack. It was certainly easier than trying to bring our Big Kahuna from home. And better than just an umbrella stroller.

We just did the stroller rental 2 weeks ago, it was $10 per day and you could pre-pay for up to 3 days so you could just walk up and grab one without having to wait in line to pay again, which can be long in the mornings. Plus you can rent one for the whole day and take it between the parks. We had no problem hopping with ours. It will be perfect for your 5 year old, it worked for our 4 year old.

The stroller rental is $10 a day and it is a pretty fast process to rent one. You can take them to and from both parks. I believe your 5 year old will fit just fine in one.

yep, $10 is correct. My MIL had the Disney Visa, and told me "Hey, I'm saving you $11 a day"---that was why that crazy number stuck with me!!;)

They are good for stuff, but I don't put ANYTHING in them anymore, after having DS's new pirate hat stolen out from underneath other things (it wasn't just blown out by wind), during our September visit.

The multi-day pass is nice. You don't save money, but you save TIME, and that was worth more than any discount! You save even more time if you keep your name-tag for the stroller from one day to the next. :)

Just a correction regarding the Disney Visa. You can get 2 (TWO) free strollers per day at DLR or DCA. We used two the last couple days we were there in the evening when our kids were tiring out (they are 5, 7 and 9). All three of them shared the two strollers just as a place to rest inbetween long walks and dh appreciated taking some of the load out of his backpack.
