Stroller rental question

I am going to MK with my 4 year old for the first time and though she probably will not need a stroller for most of the day, I think toward the end of the day she will want one. Can you rent strollers in MK ahead of time and then just pick it up late(r) in the day when you want/need it? Will they run out of strollers? Don't necessarily want to push one around all morning/afternoon - just want for the evening. Thanks for any advice.

How many days are you planning on being at Disney? Is your child newly 4 or close to 5? My 4.5 year old used his stroller a lot at Disney. We don't use one at home at all anymore. He is a very active kid. But, Disney can be an overwhelming sea of adults, and he was more comfortable going from one major area to another in his stroller.

We were at Disney 7 days though, and if we hadn't of used the stroller, he would have been pretty unbearable. we could have skipped the stroller at Hollywood studios and animal kingdom, but we definitely needed it at Epcot and magic kingdom.

I was looking forward to going stroller free next trip, but my guy has a little sister on the way.

For park strollers they are at the front of the park; so back tracking to pick it up later might be a bit much. Of course if you are planning to tour without one in the morning, take a break and return to the park later in the day and then rent one you should be okay. They're kind of pricey to rent though and I am not sure if they have a discounted price if they are rented later.

When are you going and how long is your trip? If you're going this summer, your child might need the shade the entire day anyway. You can always park it and do all of the rides in the area before returning for it. That is what we do and my son walks more and more each trip we have taken. We generally have a stroller from an outside rental company though. He falls asleep on the bus sometimes and I can't carry him very far.

Are you staying at a Disney Resort? If so, I would suggest renting from an outside company so you can keep the stroller outside of the parks- there's no way my kids (3 &5) would have made it in the parks all day and then walked back to the bus stops or monorail at night. Neither of my kids use strollers at home but at Disney they used it a lot.
