Stroller Rental Opening Time

I have a really basic question that I cannot seem to find the answer to anywhere. I'm sorry to start a whole thread on this, but I looked at some pinned discussions, did a search on this board, looked at the Disneyland website, and checked Disneyland Daily. I'm sure I must have missed the answer somewhere.

Anyway, what time does stroller rental open/begin?

I'll be going next week with my 6 year old. She's probably on the brink of not needing one, but I think it's wise to have one on hand. We've been to DL couple times before, but the first time we rented through an outside company, and last time we bought a cheap umbrella stroller just for this trip.

We're planning to get there for rope drop. Are we able to rent our stroller before the park opens?

Haven’t been in a few weeks, but when I visited in June I was among the first into the parking structure, and strollers were available for rent at the parking structure security area. So if it’s still set up the same and you use the parking structure, then you can rent a stroller before the park opens.

I don’t know about the stroller rental at the esplanade, but I’d guess it opens at least a little before the park does. That’s just a guess though.

@dieumeye - Thanks so much for your response. I was planning to rent at the Esplanade, but maybe we'll go to Pixar. Do you know if you can drop strollers off there too? I was planning on Toy Story lot and taking the shuttle, but it might actually be easier at the end of the day to wheel my daughter to the parking lot than deal with the bus.

I didn’t rent a stroller last time I was there so I have no idea, but I would imagine you can drop it off at the same place you rented it. I’m a fan of walking through Downtown Disney at the end of the day, so I personally would choose that with a stroller instead of the bus, but I know there are people who consider that too long of a walk and would prefer the buses.
