I went online to rent our double stroller and they said they no longer would hold the stroller for you when they drop it off. The guest has to actually be there to receive it. Any ideas how long it takes from when our plane lands to when we might actually arrive at our hotel? We are staying at POR FQ. Thanks!

Which company did you rent from? To me, it sounds a bit odd that they won't deliver to the front desk / bell services as it's nearly impossible for someone to give them a roundabout time of when you'll arrive at the resort. A flight could land ontime, or even early, but it coudl also be delayed by hours or canceled completely.

From the time you deplane to arriving at POFQ, I'd say anywhere from 60 - 90 minutes factoring in the time from arrival gate to luggage claim, to either DME or rental car agency, and then the drive to the resort.

I believe there are only three companies that are now considered preferred by Disney and allowed to leave strollers, the rest must meet you for drop off. Apple and Kingdom come to mind, can't think of the third.

Chose another company. Disney changed the rules with this a little last year. Companies had to be willing to sign a contract with Disney (I assume Disney is making money off them somehow) in order to allow drop off to bell services. I can't remember if we went through Orlando or Kingdom last year but both can deliver to resort.

Thanks for the help! The one I looked at was Baby Wheels Orlando. They said they would charge 75$ if the guest was not there to directly receive the stroller. I will check out apple or kingdom. Thanks!

I am renting my stroller through this company in September, and they are not on Disney's approved list of rental companies (Kingdom, Magic and Orlando Stroller rentals). After I made my reservation, TPS contacted me to notify me of the charge if they were to leave it with Bell services. I kind of like the idea of personal pick-up and drop off. I can go over features with them (haven't used a stroller in almost 3 years) so I can a quick review. I look at it like renting a car as well. Price was awesome in comparison to the approved vendors. Told me to call them when I was enroute from MCO and they would be there within 45 minutes. Conversely, told them of our early departure and told I could call them anytime the night before for pickup. We'll see how well it all works out.

I rented through Magic Strollers last May, a wonder city double stroller for my twin grandsons, it was super clean and easy to use and operate. They left it with Bell Services and we had it brought to our room (along with our Owners Locker) when we checked in, we left it with Bell Services when we checked out.

Easy and I thought the price was excellent.
