My wife and I came to Disneyword in early December of 2013 with our almost-three-year-old from NH. We were flying and wanted to avoid packing our jogging stroller for the trip, so we had to investigate our options. Disney offers rentals in each individual park, but that would allow us to use the stroller on the long walk from the room at Art of Animation to the front door where the bus stops were, to say nothing of the days we did not plan to go to a park. So we caled Apple Strollers and they offered a jogging stroller for the whole week for around $50. I thought it was too good to be true!
They delivered the stroller to the Art of Animation on the afternoon of our arrival. Picking it up from the concierge was a cinch and the stroller was clean, in good working order, and ready to use. Piece of advice... ask the person for a quick demonstration of how to fold and unfold the stroller to avoid a panic situation when your boarding the bus... and you have a tendency to miss clearly labeled straps that say things like, "Pull Here to Fold."
After a few wrestling matches with the thing, myself, my dad and my brother-in-law were able to figure it out. Typicaly three guys, read the instructions first! But a quick demo would also have helped.
The stroller was perfect for us! We were able to take it back the room, it folded nicely for the bus rides, and we never had to bother with the rental lines in the mornings at the parks. It also gave us a perfect storage area for diapers, snacks, etc. Another piece of advice... bring some kind of unique ribbon or marking device for your stroller because Disney staff are charged with re-organizing the stroller parking lots, so it will not be where you left it and you'll need to be able to identify it. Nevertheless, having our own stroller throughout the week was perfect for us and the cost was well worth it!
Returning the stroller, we just took it back to the concierge at the main building of our resort. Again, not a big deal and took a second. Overall, we will rent from them on our next trip for the price, ease of movement and convenience.
