hi all....we will be going at the end of november for 10 days. i just saw the price of renting the strollers at the park....:scared1:

we will be flying and i don't even own my double stroller anymore...my boys are 2 and 6

so im thinking of renting a double stroller from a local company....seems like that will be more comfortable and alot cheaper!

just wondering what company u guys suggest! thanks :)

We've rented from Orlando Stroller Rentals twice and have been very happy. The stroller itself is awesome and I wish I had known about it when my girls were younger. The customer service is awesome. The strollers were always at the resort, waiting for us as promised without problem. Once I had a question and when I talked to the owner, she was fantastic. I always feel like I sound like a commercial for them, but our experiences have really been that good.

Why don't you just bring a stroller for the 2 yr old and save all that money? Many, many 6 yr olds including mine do absolutely wonderful without a stroller. I certainly would try it before I spent all that money! Most 6 yr olds would never even think about going in a stroller so they will just automatically deal with walking just like everyone else.

i know i thought about that...but even at the zoo...my 6 year old does get tired of alot of walking...i just want him to have fun! :) and have the stroller as an option if he gets tired!

We are renting from Orlando Stroller Rentals. We are renting for 7 days and it is way way cheaper than Disney stollers. I was SHOCKED when i saw what they wanted for a double stroller. We were going to bring our home stroller but it ended up being such a hassle that we decided just to rent a double. Our Children are 6 months and almost 5. While he is very active, sometimes he just does NOT want to walk and while we thought about alternating who used our stroller it was just easier to rent the sit and stand (80.00 for the week + we got the insurance). They are supposed to have it ready and waiting for us when we get to the resort. I have heard very good things about them on this board and this board has steered me to some very good things :)

We are renting from Orlando Stroller Rentals as well. So far the customer service has been fantastic. Since we aren't leaving the resort till late on the last day I requested dropping the stroller off AFTER the drop off time and they said no problem, and no extra charge.

We just rented from Orlando Stroller rental. We were quite pleased with the stroller...actually thought it was the best $80 we spent all week. I have a 6 year old and I knew that in order to get everything done we wanted to do the stroller was the way to go!! We don't own a stroller anymore but let me tell you that we all loved it by the end of the trip!!
I ordered it 3 days before we left and it was waiting for us at the resort!!

thanks everyone! im off to check out the website now...i really appreciate your ideas and thoughts :thumbsup2

BTW, my DDs are 6 and almost 5. We were just in the World a few weeks ago and it was SO much easier to use the stroller. They walked when they wanted too, but it wasn't often. And oddly, WDW is the only time we use a stroller. It just works out really well to conserve their energy and have a place to sit when they poop out. I can't tell you how tempted I am to buy one of the strollers rented by Orlando Stroller Rental, but I just can't justify it even though we rent so often!

Which one did you rent? My DD is 6 also and I am not sure which one is the best for her? How light and easy were they to handle?:thumbsup2

With kids those ages, I'd just bring one full sized stroller. You can rent one on days that run long and your 6 yr old gets cranky and tired.

I agree. Plus, you'll probably need a stroller at the airport for the 2 yr old. MCO is a pretty big airport.

We rented from Orlandostrollerrentals and loved them. We used the citimini double and it was by far the best stroller ever- bar none. Plus the customer service was stellar; way above and beyond.
