Renting a Citi Mini GT single from an outside agency I think would be a huge relief for you. The stroller is designed to take naps in and so a Fresh Five year old at 4 o clock is an amazing thing. Renting it from an outside agency helps to eliviate the aggravation to trying to fly down with it.
The small light weight strollers are good, but remember if they cant fold flat (seating wise), then forget it. Just trust us on this

You can buy a McLaren volo for what a week's rental would cost. Its good up to 55 lbs, lightweight and easy to fold.

I'll be in Disney with my 5 yr old granddaughter in early June too!! We've taken a couple of trips to Disney, just her and I, and we always have a great time! I'll be renting the Citi Mini for her. It is SOOO easy to push, and really easy to fold up for the bus ride. She is very comfortable in it - I love the huge shade!! I love having the stroller for the walks back to the bus stop, and then back to our room; oh, and if you take a trip to Disney Springs!!! Have a great trip!!!!

Thank you so much!! I feel a lot better about renting a stroller now that I am assured it is easy fold & not too heavy to get on and off the bus!!! The added bonus is not having to carry everything in my back pack

I will also vote for renting the city Mini GT. It manuvers great, and folds super easy. i love mine. i don't know what the rental prices are, but I just checked albeebaby.com, and the City Lite looks great as well, with the same great fold, and is on sale to buy for cheap!

Was it easy to balance the stroller and hold onto the child if you didn't get seats on the bus?

If a five year old is tired enough to need a stroller, he or she will fall asleep anywhere, even standing up - trust me on this.

Except you shouldn't leave things on the stroller when you go on an attraction, and it all has to get checked at security at each park - the stroller stuff too - and most strollers don't fold up well when stuff is hung on them. So you;d have to put it all in the backpack at some point. Just travel light - how much stuff do you need to haul for a five year old?

We rented from Orlando Stroller rentals and Magic Strollers with no problems, but preferred Magic Strollers a bit because they were in better shape. If you go with Magic Strollers and have the Birnbaun's official guide to WDW you can get 10% off with a coupon in that book.
For a 4 year old and up I would rent the City Mini GT.
