Asked this on another section but not getting response. Taking extended family and need to know about strollers. I know the cost but how does return not return work?
I know that if you go from park to park you only need to show receipt to get another one but what if you go to the same park later... how do they know you have not still got the first one?
Do you take the stroller on the railroad with you or just get another one at the exit of the train? Again how do they know you have rented it?
The 6 year olds we are taking may not always want a stroller so do we just leave it even if we want another one in an hour or two? Or must we return it to be able to get another one later?
How does the dollar for return work when you keep returning them all day for those "let me walk for awhile kids"?

It is a good one and I can assure you one of our Dis experts will give you a good informational answer.I'm afraid the little I know about the strollers would confuse more thn help you.Plus it might not be exactly correct. So please one of you great Dis folks help with this one. Thanks :goodvibes :flower: :teacher: :earsboy:

Well from what I have seen, if you leave your stroller at one of the train stops you must go back to that stop to pick up YOUR stroller later. People don't just leave their strollers in hopes of finding another one. They do not go on the train.

Also if your kid wants to walk for a while, you still push your stroller or go back to where you left it later. Disney does not just randomly collect strollers during the day. You do not keep returning it throughout the day just to rent another later (unless you want to walk all the way back to the rental station ever time you want to return it or re-rent one). Just like you would with your stroller at home. If you are at the mall & your kid wants to walk for a while, you still take your stroller.

You must return your stroller to where you rented it.

We don't rent strollers, we always bring our umbrella one from home so we can fold our's up & take on the railroad or monorail or whatever.

We were just there last week with a 5 and 7 year old. I have energetic athletic kids but walking all day was tiring for them.

After the long day at MK we decided to rent a stroller for our days at Epcot and MGM. This was the best idea we ever had. The kids took turn riding in it and sometimes rode together!

It isn't a problem to just keep the stroller all day even if no-one is in it. Every attraction has spots to park the stroller. You may be suprised how often someone will want to sit. We used the stroller to hold jackets, drinks etc. The only way to return it is to walk all the way back to the entrance so I don't think you will want to keep taking it back and forth throughout the day.

At the end of the night we dropped it off as we walked. They gave us our Disney dollar then. By the way I had both my kids beside me when I turned it in and the CM gave each of them a dollar! If you are planning to return later that day simply drop it off on your way out and pick another one up on your way back in with receipt.
