I have a 5 year old that tires easily - would it be worth it to rent a stroller? Are they big enough for this age? Also anyone know what they rent for?
Depending on how big your 5 yr old is, but I rented one for my 6 yr old last year and she fit in the stroller just fine. I believe they were $8 to rent. I could be wrong, off by a $1 or 2.
Yes--well worth it! This was our first year to not take our own double umbrella stroller for our twins. They were 5 when we were there in May and we rented a single stroller ($8) everyday we went to the parks. They took turns and everyone was happy and not too tired. It is a lot of walking for a 5 year old (or an 8 yr. old...or 42 yr. old..or a 40 yr. old...) When no one was riding it was great for lugging our stuff around in. They are very easy to move around, too.
