Stroller question

This is not necessarily for WDW although we would use it for trips. We have a Mamas and Papas Sola 2 that we love for our grandson. In December we're expecting our 2nd grandchild. Unfortunately, Mamas and Papas doesn't make a double stroller. I've been going cuckoo trying to find a twin/double stroller. Our grandson will be almost 2 1/2 by the time the new baby is born.

So far, I've narrowed the choices to the Baby Jogger City Mini GT Double and the Bumbleride Indie Twin.

My must have is side by side. I looked at the Bugaboo Donkey Duo but the weight capacity is only 37.5 lbs./ seat. Our grandson is in the 90th percentile for both height and weight and already weighs 35 pounds so the Bugaboo as well as a lot of others have been ruled out.

I would appreciate any guidance either with the 2 strollers that I have mentioned or with others you can recommend. Thank-you!

We were between the City Mini and the Britax Be Agile. We went with the Britax and it was the best money we've ever spent! My boys are 20 months apart, and we've used it constantly for almost 3 years now.

The Britax B Agile was the first stroller I considered. The problem is wheels. They're on the small side. We have a family farm and we like to go to the fields to see Papa and the rest of the family. The stroller has to have good sized wheels - forgot to put that in must haves. If the Britax had the proper tires for our situation, I would have bought it in a heartbeat. The stroller is very nice and the price is so good compared to most doubles.

I bought the Bumbleride Indie Twin for my twins and I don't like it. It's very heavy and bulky to fold and lift in/out of the car. I also dislike the recline feature. Its nice to push, though.

I've rented the Citi Mini GT for my twins to use during trips to WDW and we liked it. Easy to fold and seemed lighter. Our experience was too limited to give a complete review, but I'd say I like it better than the Bumbleride.

Thanks so much for your Bumbleride review. I'm not a very big person and "heavy and bulky" won't work for me. In a video I just watched, folding and locking seemed awkward as well.

I'm going with the City Mini GT double.

Also look at the baby at the baby jogger summit. In many ways it similar to the city mini but bigger wheels. We use to have a city elite which is kind of a cross between the summit and mini. I loved the elite but they discontinued it

We have the Bumbleride Indie Twin and LOVE it. I've pushed a City Mini Double and while it was really nice, the Bumbleride handles terrain so well and is so smooth! I have a tall 3 year old and a 16 month old and they both fit perfectly. It is heavy and bulky but I'm 5'2" and I don't have any trouble getting it in and out of the back of my SUV. I bought two snack packs to go with the stroller and I love them. They can hold quite a few snacks (even lunch), a drink and/or a toy or two. Best part is they are insulated so I can pick snacks and throw an ice pack in and they will stay cold.

I used to have a bumbleride stroller. It maneuvered well but was very bulky and hard to fold. The city mini is a better choice.
