Stroller question

We took a very expensive triple stroller with us last trip. I never once worried about it being stolen. That said, it stood it everywhere like a sore thumb, so we would have known it was our at a glance if anyone has taken it.

Just make your stroller look unique or use the rear wheel locks.

I take my BJ City Elite and don't worry about it getting stolen.

I wouldn't want to bring a $600 stroller to Disney because of the lack of covered parking and likelihood it would get soaked through in an afternoon rainstorm. There is very little in the way of covered stroller parking in Disney.

You can just use a rain shield. If it gets wet and you don't have a rain shield, it's not really the end of the world. It's just water.

Yea I am not too worried about rain on it since its a jogging stroller and I have a rain guard/sun shield for it. I am just going to bring 2 snowboard locks with me and lock the rear wheels on each one.
We have 2 strollers...a bob revolution pro and a stokke trailz. Much rather take the bob. Disney really implement some sort of way for parents to prevent people from stealing strollers. Maybe a rail off to the side where you lock you stroller when you go into a restaurant or a shop.

We have taken expensive strollers on multiple disney trips with never a problem. We have an uppa baby vista and a baby jogger city mini double, been on 4 disney trips with one of these strollers and never has been an issue at all. Just don't leave anything of value in the stroller when parked.

Disney has been in business for years without needing to implement a stroller hitching post. You're not the first one to bring your super special stroller to Disney and you won't be the last. If you need to keep agonizing over it, go out and buy a cheaper stroller that the mere peons won't be interested in stealing, and dispose of it if it's not good enough for you when your trip is done.

just my two cents but if you are worried about theft and are planning to take disney transportation I would highly recommend renting the citi mini. As a previous poster mentioned you pick up/drop off with bell services and I bought the insurance so if stolen they would replace it with no extra cost to me.

I own both the Bob and UB Vista and neither are that easy to lift and carry once folded. For us, the citi mini worked perfect for taking Disney buses.
