Stroller question

I have a question about strollers at the park. Last September we took 2 single strollers to the parks and found it to be easy for pushing around our 3 year old twins. This year, our kids are 4 and are a bit big for the singles. Anyone have experience lugging a double jogging type stroller through the airport, buses, etc? We figure it will take up the same amount of bus room as the 2 singles. Also planning a cruise after the parks. Any thoughts??

I just saw another post on the same thing posted today! Sorry! Any additional advice would be appreciated, as we are flying to Orlando, not driving.

Totally worth taking. It's twenty minutes at most, twice a day of inconvenience for eight hours of happy kids and parents. Our girls nap in it and that alone is worth it.
A few cautions - only pack the essentials. For us, if it doesn't fit in a back pack it doesn't go. Period. That way at the end of the night it's easy to gather everything up throw it in the back pack, fold the stroller and go.
Watch out of other people, they are not watching for you. The only person I've ever run into actually ran into me while I was stopped due to traffic ahead. Of course it was my fault ::roll eyes::

Oh get your gate check tag a soon as you get to the gate. I invest in a gate heck bag, even a cheap one. More to help keep the stroller folded than anything. Don't rush off the plane. It will take a few minutes for your stroller to get up to te gate

Thanks for the advice. We LOVE our double jogger and think we can make it work. Where did you buy a gate check bag? That would be a good idea.

Ether buy buy baby or babied r us. It was a big red bag that said gate check. Maybe around $20 .

My twin boys were 4 on our trip this past May and we used a double city mini - works great for them. one of them is quite big, too - and my 6yo also fit into it easily.
