Planning a trip for 11/14-11/21. I have a ds 8 dd 3 & ds 9mth. We were thinking of just renting the double stroller for the week at the parks and my questions are:

How comfy are they?? Anyone has pics. of a dbl stroller??

We rented a sgl a few yrs. ago when we just had my oldest son, he was 3. He did great in it at all the parks, but when we got on the bus to head back to the resort he would fall asleep sometimes and we were left carrying him back to our room! Any suggestions about that since we will now have 2 children that may be asleep. Not too concerned about the 9mth because I can bring the baby bjorn, but the 3 yr. old...ugh. We don't want to bring our sit n stand because it is just so big and clunky to get on and off the bus!

Anyone ever leave an umbrella stroller at bell hop or someplace else for when you got back??

Help!!!

Skip the Disney stroller and rent a double (or two singles) from Orlando Stroller Rentals. It's much cheaper, the strollers are much nicer (soft, recline, awesome sun canopies, easy fold, dream to push, etc.), and you'll have it for your entire stay as opposed to just in the parks. They'll drop it off at Bell Services on your day of arrival and you leave it with Bell Services when you leave. Easy peasy.

The park strollers are expensive and would not work for a 9 month old. I would rent from somewhere else or look into a stroller swap on the budget board.

we rented from orlando stroller rentals...they have awesome customer service. we havent used it yet tho lol...my kids are 4 and 2....we have never owned a double stroller and never plan to so this was the best option for us....i like that its easy to use (tried it out in a local store) and push even with my dd who is 41lbs and ds who iss 30lbs in it.

I second the reccomendation to rent from Orlandostrollerrentals. No lie, they are like the Mary Poppins of strollers- practically perfect in every way. We rented a double from them last trip and were extremely pleased with everything. The stroller had an awesome canopy that really kept out the sun, and was super easy to maneuver; plus really comfortable for the kids, and could recline for naps when needed.

The Owner's Locker guys are renting strollers now, I've heard (look up threads about adventures of the Purple Van).

The stroller rental in Disney is so bad you could rent a CAR for less per day than a double stroller. It's nuts.

Here is what you get from WDW http://www.wdwinfo.com/tips_for_touring/StrollerRental.htm They are expensive and uncomfortable. They have no recline. Your 9 month old will likely be pretty uncomfortable. Here is what you can get from Orlando Stroller Rentals for even less than the WDW one! http://www.orlandostrollerrentals.com/orlando-stroller-rentals-double-stroller.html Plus OSR will deliver the stroller to bell services at your hotel for you, and in turn you leave it with them on your way out. You also can take the stroller back to your hotel with you unlike the WDW rentals. I rented from them in March and they were awesome. A very simple transaction! :thumbsup2

Are you flying or driving? If you're flying, you'll probably want a stroller for the baby to get through the airport. If you're already bringing a stroller for the baby, then I'd just bring a reclining umbrella stroller for the 3 yr old. They even sell one in the parks and resort shops for about $40.
