so i never thought id ask a stroller question but i need some help for someone else.

Next july, i am going with a family i babysit for who has 4 kids. the 2 youngest will be almost 3 and 5. They have never been to WDW before and i have never toured with a stroller so i have no idea what they should get.

They have a single maclaren stoller tha they use at home for the youngest as well as a sit and stand that they dont like using anymore.

As of right now they want to have a stroller obviously for the 2 yr but also one for the 5 yr old b/c it is teh middle of summer.

Would you bring a stroller for a 5 year old for 7 days in july?
Also, if they end up having a stroller for both, we all woulld prefer a double stroller so that i can take them back to the hotel and tour the parks with them myself if needed. What would be the best relatively inexpensive double stroller to get for touring the parks adn that folds up easily for busses?

I think I would just take the sit and stand and that way the older child would have the option to jump on when he/she was tired.
If they definately want to buy a new stroller, I think TRU has a "cheaper" model, maybe Jeep brand, for under $100.

I was going to suggest the jeep brand double stroller too! The 5 year old will need a stroller even if they don't use it ALL the time. I think Baby Depot has double strollers pretty cheap! I don't see too many people with sit and stand strollers around so I can't really comment about that!

GL!

I have the same age children. we were there in feb. I have a sit and stand and would NOT NOT NOT have wanted to drag that on and off the busses. I also find it had to push for long periods of time and around crowds of people. We went out and bought two cheap (50.00) single SMALL strollers and stroller clips.

we never really used the stroller clips but i was really glad to have them. We would push the kids to a section, park the two strollers and tour the rides. Grab the strollers to move on to the next section (with kids in them) It was a real pain on the buses with the strolelrs so if you are using the busses I would reccomend two small strollers

My son is almost 5 and whenever we go to the zoo or mall, he enjoys having the stroller around in case he gets tired.

Rent a Baby Jogger City Mini double from Orlando Stroller Rentals for $100 for the week - easy to push, folds up quick and relatively small for a double, great sun canopies for both kids, and you'll have it all week long both at the parks and at the hotel.

That's what we do for our 5 and 3 year olds while our 2 year old rides in a single.
