Sorry to be asking another stroller question but here it goes... I think I have read on a previous post that you could pay for a stroller for more than one day and get a break on the price. I can't find the post now so my question - is this true and if so where do I need to go to do this? We have two DS (3 and 5 years old) who will share a double stroller. Thanks for any information on this. We leave in two weeks and can't wait! :cool1:

Yes it is true although I don't know what the actual cost is. This is off of Disney's site :
Stroller Rentals
For your convenience, strollers are available for rent. Quantities are limited and subject to availability. The stroller rental fee is $8.00 per day and $1.00 is refundable upon return with a receipt.

For guests who require a stroller or wheelchair rental for multiple days, we offer a Length of Stay rental ticket where you make a one-time payment transaction for as many days of rental that you will need. Upon visiting a Theme Park, simply show your receipt at the stroller rental location and you will be expedited through the queue with little or no wait time.

Does anyone know how much the length of stay stroller price is. We need a double stroller for two weeks and are trying to figure out whether to buy a new one or rent. Thanks

I did the multi day rental on a double last Oct. I can't remember if it was 10% or 20% off the $15/day price. Even if it was 20% off that would be $12/day for 14 days would be $164. You may want to check out A Baby's Best Friend (abbf.com) for rental but we enjoyed the convenience of the park strollers.

I have 3 children that were 5, 3 3/4, and 21 months on that trip. I brought a Peg Perego Pliko P3 with me and rented the double in the parks as needed. I do also own a MacLauren twin umbrella but for me it wasn't worth the hassle of lugging 2 strollers on the plane or to the parks. The rentals worked really well for us and the Pliko allows one child to sit and another to ride on a running board. Just one night did the older 2 ride the Pliko back to the resort while we carried the youngest.

Just returned from WDW. What I recall about stroller rentals:
The daily cost for a double stroller was $17 - $1 (Disney) on return
Multi-day cost is less 10% - you receive coupons for the # of days purchased. You use a coupon each day at stroller pick-up. The coupon is date stamped on use, so a coupon can be used at any park, any day. In fact, it appears they could even be used at another visit in the future.
The strollers have canopies, they differ slightly from park to park. If I recall AK's were the flimsiest- difficult carrying items on top cover. I believe thay all have pockets and bottle holders on rear. They also have a sleeve for a name placard which you're given at pick-up.
Throughout the parks there are designated stroller parking areas. Be aware, if you leave a stroller elsewhere, it could be taken to a nearby parking area while you're at an event/ride/attraction. It may also be moved to another location within a given parking area. So if you return to your stroller and it's missing look around- it's usually somewhere nearby! Also remember where the parking area is in relation to your entry. many attractions exit a distance from entry, and it's easy to get disoriented in the departing crowds.
My opinion is a stroller is necessary for younger children. Our first day at MK, without a stroller, with a 4 and 5 year old, fatigue set in after about four hours- with a stroller later in the week, they went opening to closing without any let-down. Also not having to carry a back pack made life a lot easier on the adults! This was in Jan., I can only imagine what it's like in warmer times!

Thanks to everyone for all your helpful information! We leave within 2 weeks cant' wait.
