I'm going with my 2 kids - 7 year old and a 2 year old (turning 3 next month).
I have been going back and forth on if I should just bring our cheapy umbrella stroller for just the 3 year old or not bring it and rent a double stroller there in case the 7 year old is complaining alot.

Any thoughts?

We dont have a rental car - are staying onsite and will be using the busses mostly because we are at pop century.

TIA

Hi! I'd probably bring the umbrella, just for ease in the airport. You can always rent a single or double once you're there if it seems to be needed.

On our first trip we took a double umbrella with the thought that the baby would be in it, and we'd have an extra seat for either the 4 or 5 yr old if needed. We refereed SO many fights about who's TURN it was, bla bla bla and they were SO tired .... you get the pic.

On our 2nd trip, we brought one regular stroller for the baby and not ONCE did either of the bigger kids mention being tired or wishing they had a stroller. I found that funny compared to the first trip. :rotfl:

I don't think the 7 year old will need a stroller. When we went in 03, our then 5 year old DD (now 7) old never complained about the walking. Our then 2.5 year old DD made heavy use of the stroller.

The stroller was really nice to have for the airport, the parks and for around the resort.

We are leaving tomorrow yeah  I purchased a $40 Jeep Umbrella stroller for our DD2. I think I'm going to be pleased with it. We can use it in the airport, it has 2 storage bags, perfect for wipes and pull ups, it reclines a bit to prevent a stiff neck if she does sleep, has a small canopy. Best of all we've had for about a week in the foryer and my dd can't wait to ride in it. I told my ds 5 he could have a ride if he gets tired, but I don't think she's going to give it up! We figured the $ we spent on it is equal to the rental, so why not have our own.
