We are planning to take our own fold-up stroller to WDW in May. Can we just wheel DS(2) on the monorail and ferry in the stroller, or do we have to fold it up before getting on? I have read that you cannot take rental strollers on the WDW railroad in MK. Can you take your own stroller (folded up)? If not, then it sort of eliminates the railroad as transportation within the park for us. Thanks for the help! ;)

We have rolled ours onto the monorail and the ferry. We have also taken it on the WDW railroad folded up. HTH!

As long as you fold up the stroller you can take the Railroad in the MK. You can just roll the stroller on the monorail and ferry. I did this last year with my daughter who was 7 weeks old. princess:

As long as the ferries aren't too crowded, you can roll onto the ferries as well as the monorail. You can carry your own stroller onto the train as it will fold up. The disney strollers do not fold up.

Before we went to Disney, we purchased a light weight stroller with a shoulder strap and longer handles (a McLaren Triumph). It was a great investment as I didn't have to hunch to push the stroller which really saved the back and the shoulder strap was great for getting the stroller on and off the buses.
