Taking extended family and have never rented a stroller. I know how much and such but have questions....
Whe you use the train and such in MK do you just get a new stroller on the other end and if so how do they know you have bought it and not just taking one to use?
If we go to Epcot early and then go home and go back to Epcot how do they know we actually turned in the other one. I understand different parks but what if you return to the same park?
At the end if you just leave it you lose the dollar but does that mean you cannot rent one at another park or does it matter?
I hope this makes sense, I just know they will ask these questions and since they think i know all things Disney want to be ready with the answers. :rotfl: So thought I would ask the real experts! :grouphug:

I'm pretty sure you can't just ditch the stroller at one end of the park, hop on the train & pick up another stroller at that end. If you want to take a ride on the train, you can park the stroller & ride the train, getting off where you got on & picking up your stroller again.

Once you've paid for a stroller, hold on to the receipt, so you can show the receipt to you get your stroller at another park, or when returning to the same park later in the day.

Hope this helps.

To answer your questions.

1. If you hop on the train, you can get off at another stop however you will be strollerless. You will need to hop back on the train again or walk back to your stroller location.

Also please be aware that the Disney CM's make an effort to straighten the stroller parking lots. If you don't find your stroller in the exact place you left it, take a look around some of the other stroller aisles. It will most likely be there. Also on a lot of shows or rides that have an entrance in one location, and an exit in another, your stroller might follow you from the entrance to the exit.

If your stroller ever gets nabbed by someone else. It happens all the time. Save your receipt and you can get a replacement stroller at any of the stroller locations on your park map, free of charge. Most Disney strollers are nabbed with nothing in them. If you leave a cheap personal item or something shall I say gross, it will be less likely to be stolen.

2. You can go to one park, leave and return even to the same park that day. Just show your receipt and you will be given another stroller. At the end of the day return your stroller and you will receive a disney dollar or 2. I can't remember how much the return reward is exactly. If you are in a hurry at the end of the day, and need to ditch your stroller without returning it, that is fine but you won't get your disney dollars. ::MinnieMo

Thank you, but do have a question.... Doesn't this system lead to people being able to get two strollers for the same receipt? I think maybe that is why at the end of the night there are soooo many strollers... all those ones "borrowed" and all those doubkle stroller users out there! :earseek:

I suppose a few people could abuse the system. Let's hope that everyone follows good Disney etiquette, and does not ruin the whole stroller rental system for everyone.

Thank you for the help. I would like to think that people are on their best behavior at Disney but sorry to say some people just don't hear Jimney Cricket in their heads.
