"Stroller Napping"

Our youngest will be 2 1/2 this trip in Oct. Will he be comfortable enough in the rented stroller to fall asleep and nap? His home naps are always in his crib and he puts himself to sleep. No rocking for him! He just won't stand (or lie) for it!

The strollers are all hard plastic and there is not a good place for them to lay their head. I would recommend bringing a blanket or something for him to sit on and maybe something smaller to roll up along the side to prop up his head.

Hehe! When I read your header I thought you meant stroller napping as in kid-napping!

Our little guy will be almost the same age when we go in December. It will be his fourth trip. We plan to take our stroller from home again. It is comfy, padded, reclines, has a tray, etc. He naps really well in it. I know he wouldn't be comfortable for riding - much less napping - in one of the rented ones yet

Our children were 2.5 and 8 mo last time and they just caught naps when they wanted them in our double stroller. We have always had pretty structered naptimes at our home and my kids are good sleepers and odn't need rocking or anything either, so when they were ready, they just got in and dozed and it worked for us...but then again, we had our own stroller.

when they were younger, our children would have no trouble at all napping in the stroller in the parks. Pillows or light blankets make a good headrest, and a beach towel draped over the top provides shade and eliminates distractions. It is a great time for mom & dad to find a quiet bench and take a few minutes to relax while they nap. After all, that short nap is the difference between an unhappy, cranky child and a rested happy child, especially with the overwhelming imput of WDW.
