We're leaving for WDW Friday. First trip with the two little ones. Here's a photo of the stroller we planned to take with us. Anyone think Disney will have a problem with this stroller? I'm sure it's no bigger than their double strollers. We're driving, so we won't have to worry about lugging it on and off the busses. I mostly just want to make sure that it's "legal" by Disney standards.

Thanks.

We saw plenty of similar strollers on our most recent trip so I don't think they will have a problem with it. One thing to keep in mind with a fixed wheel like that is that when it's crowded, we saw lots of people having trouble turning them and steering. I'm not talking Christmas week crowded, I'm talking Fantasy Land in the afternoon crowded. If your kids are comfy in it and you don't have to deal with it on the busses then go for it, just be aware that in crowds it may be tough to be ablet o pop the wheel and turn it. My kids love ours like that but since we prefer not to have to drive on vacation and use the bus system, we have always chosen something else. I would consider bringing ours if we were driving everywhere though. :)

Thanks for the reply.

Yeah, I'm not crazy about steering the thing either. But my wife doesn't have a problem with it. The only other alternatives (renting or two strollers) are even less attractive. Besides, our 3 yo is over 42" and I don't even think we have another stroller that will accommodate him at this point.

With that issue resolved, all I need to do is go and pack. :)

That is the kind of stroller that some people have been turned away with (the big front tire is the problem). Someone had posted a reply they got from WDW not too long ago saying that type of stroller with a single large front tire was not allowed (although the same type of stroller would be allowed if it had the small swivel wheels on the front).
It's apparently inconsistent whether you will be allowed to bring them in or not. People have posted that their stroller was held in the stroller rental area and they were given a WDW stroller to use free of charge. But I've seen those types of strollers in use. I don't know how they decide when to not let the strollers be used; if it goes by how busy the park is, or how many strollers they have available to lend out or what.
But, there is a chance that you might not be able to use yours.

Thanks for the info, Sue.

The picture may be a bit deceptive--all three wheels are exactly the same size--about 10-12" in diameter. I know the kind you are referring to with the one large wheel in the front. I had previously heard that strollers like that were not permitted, which is why I was just a little worried.

I guess we'll just play it by ear. We really don't have a viable alternative at this point, and I'd rather at least TRY to save the $15 per day, or whatever it is they charge for double strollers these days. As long as they are treating all guests fairly, I really can't complain.

The 10 inch non-swivel wheel is what I was referring to as a large wheel. If you have to "pop" it up on the back wheels to turn, that's the strollers with problems. Some strollers that have those wheels also have an option of changing the single wheel out for a set of smaller front casters. If you have that option, you won't have a problem.
The single and double jogging type strollers they use at the Studio are BabyJogger (I think the model is called City Jogger) strollers with the small front casters.
