stroller harness question

We have a Graco literider which I really like. It has a parent tray, child tray, reclines, has a huge storage basket and folds up pretty easily. The only problem I'm finding is that is only has a 3 point harness. Now that DD can walk, I am thinking that a 5 point harness would keep her contained a little better. Is it worth getting a new stroller, just for the 5 point harness or will she soon enough outgrow the need for the 5 point harness? She twists around and sort of tries to climb out. No success yet, but it seems like it's just a matter of time.

I've NEVER used the 5 point harness in our strollers for either child (4 yrs & 1 yr). I've always just used the 3 point buckle. But then again, my kids aren't climbers.

I, personally, wouldn't buy a new stroller just for that. UNLESS you're not done having children and the new stroller you buy would be used for a future child.

See, we have nothing with a 5 point harness so I have no experience with them and no idea whether they would actually encourage DD to stay sitting. If they are just going to act as a restraint, she will just get mad and it won't be pretty. I guess I'll just skip the new stroller and go for more active parenting and better distractors .

I both kinds of strollers. Let me tell you from experience that if the child wants to get out you can have a 10 point harness and the child will find a way out. She will just scream louder while she is trying to twist out of the 5 point harness. I wouldn't buy another stroller for the harness. She'll outgrow this stage eventually.
