stroller frustration!

ARGH! There just never seems to be any single stroller with the simple features I so badly want. Why is it so hard to find a striller with cup holders for ME and a tray for food and such for the child, a large basket underneath and canopy? I've bought several aftermarket add-ons for cup holders and they either never fit or they break quickly. HELP. Anyone w/ suggestions??? (I just need one for a toddler and up) Not being bulky too is a must because I want to easily be able to check it at the gate at the airport. Anyone else feel this way? I must be weird that those are the things I look for in strollers and can't seem to find one. I guess not everyone wants these things??

Don't even ask me how many strollers I've gone through in frustration. WHY is this so hard. Thanks for letting me vent.

I know exactly how you feel! I finally settled on a stroller I saw at Target, Cosco Umbria (this was last year) and I use it all the time, but it is not without its faults.

Pros:
It has a cup holder and tray for the parent, it reclines and has a basket underneath yet is very lightweight, and it does have a tray and cup holder for my son... it only cost me $39.

Cons:
I DON'T like that the tray doesn't flip out very easily, so I either have to stand him up to get him out or unclasp the tray to take him out (like when he falls asleep. It's too hard to get him out with the tray in place). Also, it folds flat (in half), but it took me a while to get the hang of pushing the seatback forward to make the stroller fold down. I do know how to do this quickly now, but I still have to remind my husband every time

This is a fine car stroller/ WDW stroller, but it isn't very "cushy", just a basic low-end stroller. Hope that helped!

Wow. That really IS the one. THANKS! It took someone that had one to know where to find one. I swear, I've been searching for YEARS.

THanks to apirateslife4us too. I'm glad to know I'm not alone in my frustrations. Finding all of what we want and then it not being super uncomfortable for the kiddos too is such a task. You'd think it wouldn't be! Who designs these things? People that have never had the need for them????

That is a great price on a stroller. I'm glad to not having to spend another $150 ya know???

I was goign to suggest the Graco Quattro Tour. It has all those features and it can be gate checked. Took ours to Disney 3x before we upgraded to the BJ City Mini (DS didn't need the snack tray by then). Glad you found something that will work for you!

Wow, that stroller has everything a parent could want! If mine weren't outgrowing strollers I'd be all over it!! The one-hand fold would be a dream compared to my Cosco folding issue, plus it looks comfortable. Good buy!

and the tray comes off completely for when you don't need it anymore and to actually put it in the sink to wash it.
