Has anyone heard of a Stroller for Wheelchair pass? someone asked me about this. I hadn't heard of this so I thought I would come to the experts?:confused3:confused3Thanks, Penny

You came to the right place.

Follow the link in my signature to the disABILITIES FAQs thread (or look near the top of the thread list on this board).
Post #6 has information about Guest Assistance Cards and how to request one. They sometimes just use a sticker that identifies a stroller as being used as a wheelchair and sometimes they also give a card.

Thanks Sue, A friend who I am going to Disney with said another friend (who has a child with a disability) is giving her a Stroller for Wheelchair card. I kept asking her if it was a GAC card and she said no. I thought that is what it had to be. There is no way this child is going to use a GAC card when she is with me. There is nothing the matter with her. Her Mom just wants to bring the stroller into restaurants. I will explain to Mom what this card is as she will then not want to use it. This was a new one for me. thanks and have a good day. :goodvibes Penny

she would be able to bring a stroller into the counter service restaurants without anything - people do it all the time.

People have posted on the Family Board that they have been able to bring a stroller into full service restaurants under certain circumstances - like an in fant or a sleeping child - if that is Amy help to you.

Guest Assistance Cards are dated and CMs do look at the date, so she would not be likely to be able to use an expired one.

I wouldn't let her if she was with me anyway. I know the rules. :goodvibes Penny
