Was hoping the title might catch a few eyes...

My DD will be just over 2 when we travel to WDW at the end of September. She is a little princess and likes what she likes so I definitely want something that she will be comfortable in. However, our regular stroller (a Graco Metrolite) was not so light last year when we went and I would prefer to find something that weighs less.

The tough part is that my DH is 6'2 and the lightweights I have seen seem kind of short. I don't want him to look like he is pushing a doll stroller...any suggestions?

Thanks!

The Maclarens are great for tall people. My techno has adjustable handles, I am not sure which of the others have adjustable handles but I know they are all much taller than the inexpensive light stuff. You can find some decent prices on ebay and at www.albeebaby.com. I got a really great deal on craigslist for mine so you may even want to check there.

My DH used to be skeptical of Macs, but that all changed once he had a chance to push a loaded one in a store. He's a Mac evangelist now.

Inglesina umbrella strollers also have high handles, especially the Trip model, but the cheaper Swift model has higher handles as well. I had a Swift and it's a great little stroller.

Definately a Mac...My hubby is 6'2 and I'm 5'8. The whole reason we spent the money for the Mac is because of the handle height. LOVE IT!!!!

BTW, if you don't want to buy a new stroller, I think you can get extenders from One Step Ahead for your handles. However, the Mac is such a great stroller, I would recommend investing in one!!

I vote for a Mac - not only is it accommodating to tall people but it'll hold the husband as long as he's 55 lbs. or less! :lmao: :lmao:

Another vote for a Mac. We bought ours for our Disney trip in 2006 based on me asking the same question on these boards and have been so thrilled with it!

Thanks for all of the great info. Now I just have to decide between the Triumph and the Quest. What is the difference?

Also...I'm seeing lots of sales on 2007 models. I can't imagine that anything would be that drastically different from 2007 to 2008 that warrants the extra $$$. Right?

I have a chicco C5 im 5'10 and i love it, also my brothere who is 6'6 has pushed it all over disney world without having to hunch over and ending up with a sore back.

I was wondering the main differences between the Triumph and Quest as well, hopefully someone will enlighten us both! :)

As far as I can tell, the main difference is the adjustable footrest. I think the seat looks a little deeper on the Quest, but the "footrest" is actually a part of the seat. Also, I noticed the Quest models at Babies R Us did not have a carry strap, but instead a handle. Not sure if these are the only differences, but it's what I've seen while shopping...
