Hi, my son is very tall for his age and I am looking for a stroller with a tall back that is light weight so that I can take it to Disney this year. The problem that I am finding is that his legs are too long and his feet hang very low to the ground and hit the wheels. None of the feet rests seem to be low enough. Also if he lays back his head hangs off the top. Any ideas? I went to Babys-R-Us today and tried about 10 different ones without any luck. I know there have been a lot of stroller questions but if anyone has had this problem and found something please share. Thanks, Stephanie

Have you seen the Maclaren Volo. Its umbrella light but holds up to a 50 lb child. We just bought one for our 2 1/2 ds and our very tall ds4 fits in it just fine. the only drawback is it doesnt recline, which isnt an issue for us since ds will never willing go to sleep while out in a stroller:sad2:

I have a Mac Quest. My 3yo DS is about 42in and I have to remind him to keep his feet on the footrest as they drag on the ground if he doesn't. It is OK weight wise but I can see where it wouldn't fit a taller child. Mac makes a huge stroller for special needs, but that would really be overkill just for a vacation. I haven't tried the rental strollers- maybe they would fit?

Subscribing. I also have a super tall, almost 3 year old, and am in the market for a light-weight stroller for her just for our Disney trip.

I recently purchased the Inglesina Trip stroller for my 4 year old nephew for our Disney trip in September. He tried it out and it fit him very comfortably. I liked the Inglesina better than Maclaren (which my other nephew has) because I thought the fabric was higher quality, the foot rest adjusts, and the basket underneath is much easier to reach. Although, the Inglesina is a little heavier. It was on sale at Babies R Us online.

How tall is tall? We have a Pink Jeep Stroller for DD2. She won't be 3 until March but is about 36 inches. Still plenty of growing room.

ETA: I just checked and it only has a 35lb weight limit. Fortunately, DD is only 26 so we'll have plenty of time, but probably won't work for a 4yo.

The maclarens are rated up to 55 lbs in the seat, and last I checked the iglesina strollers are rated up to 40 lbs maximum ( as per their website).

Mclaren triumph $99 fold up extremely easy and has carring strap.

Best investment made. Up to 55lbs. DDs traded off and on very few occasions one held the other and we were able to make a quick getaway with tired little feet. DD is 5 and DD is 8, both on the fairly small side.

The only thing is that it does not recline.
