We are going to WDW in October and my DD will be 6 and DS 4. We're not sure what stroller to take?! We have a Phil and Ted stroller which is awesome but we don't want to take it bc it's so big and bulky to use in the bus. My DD mostly likely should be ok without the stiller so we just need one for our DS. We need it to have storage in the bag for all our our bags, outfits, etc, but yet till lightweight and easy to fold. Any ideas?

My grandson is going to be six and we are taking the stroller. He's a little guy and there is so much walking. It is just a regular Graco stroller, with a canopy and storage under. Folds quick and easy with a twist on the handle.
Have a great trip!

We are planning to use a Maclaren Volo for our 4 year old when we go in December. It weighs less than 10 pounds, folds like an umbrella (but is taller and easier to push) and has a sun canopy and storage underneath. Love this stroller. We also use one for our DS7 who has Juvenile Arthritis.

my 6yo was in our stroller a LOT this past trip- even napped in it a bit - Disney wipes him out! my almost 4yo twins were also the same way - we had a ride on board on the back and the 3 of them were always fighting about getting the seat so next year we are bringing our double city mini and renting a single - I know all 3 will still want to be in one a lot - I know that I would be in one if someone would push me!!

i'd rent a city mini double while there - they are so easy on the busses, etc - and great for kids those ages- pretty big - my 6yo is a size 7, about 62lbs, 49", and squezzed himself into the mini seats and even slept.

I would really consider bring a a stroller they both can go in. It is a lot of walking for those little feet. I would rather deal with the inconvenience getting on and off buses rather then dealing with a 6 year old having to walk to parks all day. Something to think about, having the 6 year old walk around the parks all day will only tire them out faster and lead to faster melt downs. You would be setting yourself and your child up for success by bringing them the stroller. just my thoughts. However, this is coming from a commando style visitor and I used our "sit N. Stand" stroller until my daughter was 10 years old.

I bought a double stroller specifically for Disney on the trip when my daughter was 6 and my son was 5wks (2010). She walked most of the time, but for eating snacks and on the long walks back to the resort she rode (and slept).

Your average walking distance is around 10 miles a day, MK is a huge place. You aren't doing it all at once of course, and there are a lot of breaks, but it is still a considerable amount of walking. We'll be taking the double stroller this time, too.

For our upcoming trip, my son will be 4 and the baby will be 14mo. My eldest, who will be 9 then, should be able to handle it, but I know my son will want to ride at the end. He asks to ride now if we have a long day of errands that includes a lot of shopping.

Our kids will be almost 4 and almost 5 and we are taking our Graco double stroller - it has tons of storage, canopies for both kids along with cup holders for both kids and for me....we are also bringing backpack leashes for the time when they want to walk - they have a habit of beaking free and Disney is just too big for me not to have a handle on them at all times...

When our oldest was 4, she walked everywhere at Disney no problem, but for our current 4 year old, we are bring the fold up Jeep stroller (very similar to the Kolcraft strollers they sell in the parks).
