I am trying to find an umbrella stroller that will hold my 59 pound 6 year old. She is quite tall. I would love one that has an awning and reclines. Any ideas?

We just bought a Schwinn double umbrella stroller (don't know if they make singles). It says it holds 50 lbs each, but my dds have a lot of room in them and they're in the 40-45lb range. They're not really tall - but I would check them out.

We have the Schwinn Double Stroller and we used it in Disney for our two boys, ages 2 & 6 at the time. It was great for both of them at Disney - my 6 year old actually likes to sit in the stroller more than my 2 year old does. The stroller was the only one I found that would hold a heavier child and was still an umbrella style, light weight, easy to fold and get on the buses without too much commotion, strong enough to hold them both. The seats recline, there are baskets beneath the seats and also a mesh bag hanging behind the seats, which is great for sippy cups, guide maps, etc. They do make a single stroller in the same model. We have been very happy with this stroller. Still use it 6 months later.
