We took our tall 5yo dd (over 44") around to try out various strollers before our last trip, and decided the most comfortable for her was a Jeep "pseudojogger" ie; it looks like a jogger, but they call it, I think, an "all terrain" or maybe "urban terrain" stroller, not a true jogger. It accommodated her length quite well, it reclined so she could nap, and the way the foot rest is configured allowed her to perch or hang her feet without touching the wheels or the ground. It has a nice-sized basket underneath, the handle is padded and a decent height, with a cupholder and a closing cubby for sunglasses, etc. We got the one without the music player, because it interfered with her head. It doesn't have as nice of wheels as the music player model, but the wheels held up just fine for our 3 week trip - and afterwards, not that we really use it at home, of course! It doesn't fold up nearly as small as an umbrella stroller, however it folds very easily with one hand, is not horribly large or heavy for the type of stroller it is, and we were able to maneuvre it onto busses, boats & monorails just fine. It turns & pushes very easily with a kid in it, also; I can push it with one hand. Just an all-around good value for what we paid. As I remember, we paid about $100 at Toys R Us online - way cheaper than renting would have cost us, so I figure if we never use it again, we got our money's worth.
