I have never rented a stroller in the parks before (always brought one from home). This year my DD will be 6 and just way too big for the home stroller. We are still bringing one from home for 3yo DS. What are the experts hints and tips to quickly and painlessly acquiring your stroller? Where do you pick them up at MK, Epcot, AK? I'm sure I'll figure it out when we get there, but I love being prepared! Thanks!

At MK the stroller station is on the right-hand side, just after you enter through the turnstyles. Depending on the time you get there and how busy they expect to be at MK, there are sometimes CMs set up in different areas near there who have strollers for rent. Make sure you have cash, though, (for the shortcut people)because they didn't take credit cards the last time we were there. Epcot's stroller area is on the left side of the park just before Spaceship Earth. I'm not sure about AK, but it's probably somewhere near the entrance. I think you made a wise decision about renting for your 6 year old. We have three DDs, 7,5 and 2, and we tried using a double umbrella stroller for the older two when they were about 5 and 3. It felt like we were pushing a ton of bricks through gravel all the time. We finally rented a double and breezed through the parks. What a difference!!!

This October, we're renting a stroller for our 3 year old from and outside source. It will be delivered to our resort on the day of our arrival and then picked after we leave. It was very cost efficient ($45 +/- for 7 days). This way we have a stroller for when we leave the parks as well but don't have to take one from home.

We are bringing out strollers from home this time since we are driving there, but one tip that I CAN offer is to put a colored bandana on the one the you rent. They all seem to look alike when you get off the rides, this way you can easily recognize yours when you need it!

Where did you rent your stroller from that is being delivered to your resort? Are you staying on site? I'd be interested in doing that too.

Thanks for your help!

Save your money!!!!! Just buy a cheep umbrella stroller and leave it there! I saw them in Wall Mart for ten bucks! the even sell them in the Super Markets off site!!!!!! The parks charge what 8.$/9.$ a day the last time I noticed and I think the time you need a stroller the most is at the end of the day when the kids are to tired to walk back to the car,bus or tram....so what do you do then? For 10.$ to 20.$ and being so light weight you cant go wrong! ;)

I don't like to pay $10/day to rent, but I couldn't push one of those $10 cheapies around for 2 weeks with a 5 year old in it they are awfully uncomfortable to push.

I have to agree with you Bev, we have one of those strollers and I hate to use it even in the mall, we are selling ours at a garage sale I hate it so much!
