Stroller Donation After Trip

After going back and forth whether we will rent a stroller or not, we have decided to unearth one that we have (haven't used it in 4 years) to use for the trip and then leave it at the hotel (we are flying and no need to bring it back home). Is it possible to donate it somewhere at the end of the trip? We wouldn't have time to bring it anywhere. Ideas??

I'd give the hotel a call and see if they have arrangement with any groups that will pick them up. If not it will either end up in the trash or some employee's CraigsList account.

We stood in the lobby with ours years ago on the way out and asked a family with kids if they wanted our stroller to use, they were super excited! I just told them pay it forward when they leave and they said they will do the same.

You could leave it at the homeless camps al ok ng harbor. I'm sure one of them could use it for something

I have seen posts on the disboards facebook page saying free stroller. The posts have been for WDW but it might be worth a try.

If you "lose" your stroller at disneyland it will be held for 30 days and then donated.

You could also follow the monthly planning groups on here, and find someone arriving on your departure day to see if they could use it.

Agree with this. Make an announcement on your Official Check In thread and have whoever wants it PM you so you can work out the details. Then they can do the same when they leave. There are quite a few DISers who will be starting their trips the day you leave or the day after -- so lots of possibilities!
