So here's the situation...please advise and help!!

Going to WDW at the end of September with DD7, DS4(just turned), and DD10months. DS4 is big for his age, and is already at the 40# mark (weight limit on most strollers I've researched). He looks like I stuffed him into the side-by-side double stroller. So I will need a stroller for DD10months and DS4 to share. DH thinks we should rent a Disney double stroller. I say no way, a 10 month old can't possibly be secure or comfortable in that thing. I say we buy one and bring it with, but which, if any? The weight limit on the Sit and Stand is 40# for each of the seats. HELP ME PLEASE!!

I rented a jogging stroller from www.abbf.com I would check out the weight limit on that one

Baby Jogger brand. If you are looking to buy it www.albeebaby.com will have the best price and free shipping. If you are renting Orlando Stroller Rental has this model for rentals.

I think it is very likely your four year old will be tired and want to ride more than you think. There is a TON of walking at Disneyworld... kids who wouldn't normally ride in a stroller are happier for longer if they have a choice.

Unless you plan on babywearing the 10mo old when your 4 year old needs to ride, you're going to need a double.

This is a great double stroller sit/stand deal... and it's back weight limit is 45 pounds.

Thank you, I will check that one out. I DEFINTITELY want the double stroller. He will tire out within 5 minutes, guaranteed!

we are renting one from orlando stroller rentals, i fit my dd in it (she will be 4 the end of sept) shes 41lbs and a lil over 40inches. she had plenty of room. they are the city jogger ones they rent i think

I believe some of the sit and stand models were up to 50lbs. My kids have been using it way past 40lbs. My DD jumped in a few times when she was 8. It was definitely not easy to push but also did not break. We will be using our with our 4 and 5 yr old DS's this year, JIC.

Consider a double Maclaren....they hold up to 55lbs (each side) and have a nice umbrella fold so it is not so bulky on the bus. Double rentals at the parks are $31 a day....so that could justify the purchase price of a new stroller (that you could sell when you return if you won't need it).

Or, you could buy a single for DS, use what you have for baby and both you and DH wrangle strollers on your trip.

We had a similar situation. We went with a then 9 month old and large 4 year old. We rented from Disney, we used a beach towel we carried with us to make the stroller more user friendly for that age. The little guy was secure, just check to make sure the clips work on the stroller before walking away from the stroller rental (sometime they are broken). The problem was the older one, we could not secure the clip around his belly. It took a little convincing (i.e. almost running him over) that he could not just try to get up since he was not clipped in. Big question for renting vs. bringing a stoller--will you need it at the airport, at the pool, resort, etc. I have found bringing a stroller for those times was much more important than the parks.
