Stroller cover for double rental?

Does anyone know if a stroller cover for a side by side double stroller fits the double rentals? I *think* we have decided to rent a double for my 5 and 3 yr olds and will bring a single for our 9 month old but I don't want my two older ones to be swimming in their stroller after it rains. We're going in August so I know we will encounter some rain.

When I was there in June - a lot of people bought clear, cheap shower curtains. I thought that was a great idea.
They would drape it over the double rental stroller and it looked like everything was dry.
I'd be sure to try to secure it to something though - because sometimes it's rainy and windy.

Thanks Laura. That's an idea. I wonder if clothespins would work to secure it somehow.

The sunshield on the double rental covers pretty good but just incase, you could look at a dollar store or in the camping section at Walmart,and get one of those clear plastic rain ponchos. They work great for covering the strollers and then you can just pitch them when you're done. Those are what we usually cover our strollers with.

I did the shower curtain and clothespin thing in Feb. We only needed it for a short time and it was while we saw the Lion King show but it kept the stroller dry. I think I used 4/5 clothespins since it was a little windy too. We're going back in Sept. and I need to get another one now since it'll probably rain a little more.

Has anyone tried a double stroller cover on the rentals? I did a search and can't seem to find any info on whether they fit or not.

I bought a oblong clear plastic table cover for a buck... haven't used it yet, hope it works!
